Love the matching denim shirts sent from Grandpa Don and Joyce. We visited the trail and railroad tracks while Aunt Sarzah was here for a few pictures.

Horsing Around with Aunt Sarzah

Mom and Sarah spent the night after Whitney's shower since Tristan's b-day party was the next day. The kids had a great time playing with Aunt Sarzah, but also showed our guests what they were made of with major fits at bedtime.

Whitney's Bridal Shower

Whitney's bridal shower at our place went well. Lauren made goodies to share and the flowers and decorations were great. Marsha did another fantastic job with the cake. Tristan is very social and here is hanging out with Aunt Jane, and later he spent a lot of time on Whitney's Mom's lap. The kids were providing entertainment with jumping off the fireplace and playing with balloons.

Labor Day at Tim's

Annual Labor Day get-together for the Kirchhoff side of the family, complete with hayride for some grumpy kids. Everyone tells Tim to stop doing it but he is too hard-headed and thinks he should keep hosting it- being hard-headed is definitely a Kirchhof trait. Some kiddos in these shots are having more fun than others!

Tractors with Mamo

   At Grandma's farm, sitting on one of Tim's tractors. Tristan especially loves tractors and can't get enough of looking at tractor books. He should be Tim's kid as much as he loves tractors. We were at the farm just this past weekend for Thanksgiving and had been at the silo feeding cows with Tim. When we got back, Jordon and Karli were distracted with Jon and Whitney's new puppy, but Tristan was still following after Tim on the tractor.

Fun at the park

This was at a cool park in Harrisonville. The playground equipment was built like a big treehouse! Afterward we went and visited Uncle Jon and Aunt Whitney.

Paradise Park and Hangin' with Grandpa

We visited Paradise Park for the first time while Grandpa Don and Joyce were here. The boys liked playing in the balls, the water play, shopping in their size grocery store, and the art and cooking project. Fun place for kids! The other shots are in our garage with their bikes, and Jordon was pretty excited that Grandpa Don and Joyce got the boys a basketball goal! Should be many years of fun- thanks Grandpa and Joyce!!

Grandpa Don and Joyce visit

Grandpa Don and Joyce came to visit this year at the end of July. We rigged up a way for all of us to fit in the Edge with Jordon's seat in the back. I'm sure this is not legal, but it worked great at the time, aside from it getting pretty hot in the back for him with all the hot weather we had. On this day, we visited the Crayola Center and Fritz's at Crown Center- the boys went nuts over all the trains. They didn't want to eat much with being so fascinated with everything. We've been there a few times and they love that place.

More Deanna Rose

Visit to Deanna Rose Farmstead

  We visited Deanna Rose in July with Adi and his family. It was fun but oh so hot, so we had to cut time short there with the little ones getting hot and red-faced in the 100 degree heat. The kids climbed a tree, fed goats, Jordon rode a horse, they all rode tractors, and we saw lots of animals.
