April 2024

April brought baseball resuming. Tristan played on a Precision tea,, a long drive for us to practices, as they were out of Overland Park. But we were trying to expand options to find a team that was a good fit for him.  April also brought lovely flowers around the farm and the trail coming back to life after winter with the warmer temps.

Love these poppies!

Tuckered out after baseball weekend

Tristan's hair was getting longer and he was a good sport about letting me do this! It stayed for about 30 seconds.

Tristan did middle school track this year. Long waits at some of those track meets just to see your kid do their races.

So exciting to be driving at 16!

March 2024

We had a busy and adventurous month. We went to Oklahoma City for a few days over the kids' spring break. We celebrated Jordon turning 16! Some of the photos below are looking back at him over the years and the young man he's growing into. 💗

Jordon's 16th birthday was at Grandma's, also on Easter Sunday!

Air bnb where we stayed in OKC. I think we all really enjoyed our visit. We had time to relax, discover some shows on Netflix we all enjoyed (Atypical) and it was only a 5 hr drive from home. It was a good trip.

This was all at Dead People's Stuff, an architechural salvage place in OKC. We purchased a decorative window we've placed in our living room that is old and lovely.

Unplanned ER trip in OKC for Tristan due to red and swollen nut. Long wait and boring in ER. He was fortunate to be treated for cellulitis only, no testicular torsion.

Kansas City Soccer Club spring competitive soccer for Jordon. He loves playing and has found a way to continue during high school off season, and he gets to play on same team as his friend Q.
