T&J

These are some pics of the boys from earlier in 2014. The first one is of them and their valentine boxes made for school parties. They had a great time making them. Tristan went through a phase, like Jordon did around age 3, of being very into Toy Story, so he is also seen here playing with Woody and Buzz. They both still like to have their stuffed animals around at times. Jordon has had that puppy since he was a baby. Tristan's Curious George monkey is one of his favorites.

Jordon Basketball

Jordon played Tiny Tots Basketball this past winter and enjoyed it (but not as much as soccer). For a while all he wanted to do at home was shoot baskets.

Tristan's First Try at Tiny-Tots

So Don signed Tristan up for Tiny Tots basketball for the winter (early 2014). Turned out that age 3 was too young for him to participate.  He did the warm-ups for one practice and a little bit of running and that was about it. We'll try again as he gets older if he's interested.

More Kindergarten Activities for Jordon

Mrs. Duncan sent us the picture of Jordon where he wrote the message out on the board. He did it all by himself. Most of the other pictures are from a field trip to Paradise Park with his kindergarten class. Don was able to attend as he was off work that day. The last few photos are from a dance program that the kindergartners did. It was fun to watch the kiddos out there moving to the music.

Kindergarten Program

Jordon had a kindergarten program that the students did for parents, under the direction of Mrs. Duncan. They did some singing and reciting up on stage. Jordon led the group in a military style reciting of what they had learned in kindergarten. He recited the first part, then they would repeat after him. It was pretty cool. He did a great job and Mom and Dad were very proud. Mrs. Duncan also had CDs made with photos to help preserve the kindergarten experience for the kids. She's a fantastic teacher and Jordon really enjoyed being in her class.

Brothers

Some pictures of the boys together. We put their beds together earlier this year so they sleep in the same room on bunk beds. They thought it was really cool at first. Then a few times they wanted their old beds back. The first picture is what they often look like after a bowl of blueberries.

Fun at Skyzone

Jordon was invited to his friend Adi's birthday party at Skyzone. The kids and I had a great time jumping around. Don had to watch from the sidelines this time around cause he had just had neck surgery.
