Shelf from Grandma Kirchhoff's kitchen is now in the boy's bathroom
This was a door to Grandma Kirchhoff's house that we are sanding down and refinishing that we plan to put up as a back door in our living room- wish I had gotten a photo before Don started sanding, but here it is, in the works.
Our red barn
More work on the house-- Don and I pulled down the shutters, old trim, and wood slats under windows from the front of the house, and discovered there was some old termite damage and wood rot, so we had the bad wood replaced, insulation added, and then we added the decorative stone ourselves. Realized there is no "after" shot but maybe later. We plan to add landscaping in the spring and possibly paint the wood trim and garage. Good thing we don't mind projects, LOL!
Another fun test on FB- I found this to be pretty accurate for me and have always really liked owls!
