Dwarfed by the highchair

We got the highchair out a while back and started using it since Jordon has been sitting up better. He looks so little in it though. In the past few weeks, we have been adding in some solids and he is getting the hang of it. So far he's had sweet potatoes, squash, and carrots. We also followed my Mom's advice and added some fruit (so far applesauce or pears) to the rice cereal so he would actually eat it -- before that he had pretty much refused to eat the cereal. It's made a difference, or he's just gotten used to things, but he's now pretty much eating whatever we put in front of him. I think Don does better with getting him to eat than I do. It sure is messy cause he likes to shove his hands in his mouth with the food and gets a death grip on the spoon, not wanting to give it back and then fussing because you're not giving more food. Somehow he ends up smearing it all over the tray and it gets on his forehead, cheeks, and up his nose. What a stinker. Talk about stinker.... the poop sure changes when you add solid foods, and not in a good way.

Love that picture on the bottom. Yes solid food does change the aroma for sure!
