January 2018

Unfortunately, I can't seem to get some of these pictures to rotate, so some are stuck sideways. In January, we were still adjusting to being dog owners with Raleigh. The only thing he's torn up is his own toy- a stuffed pizza slice. We learned a lot about wresting with Tristan doing it this year. Total chaos in those gyms, so loud and intense. This Mom did not dig wrestling, so I'm glad Tristan didn't either. Those matches take all day waiting around a gym for your kid to go-- craziness. But he stuck with it for the season and it helped build character. He won several matches and lost about the same. He barely beat out a girl, and said he knew going into the match that "girls are hard" so it would be a tough one. Better believe it buddy. We also secured a tractor from former neighbors to do some work on the land, so that was exciting. And Jordon's basketball games kept us busy traveling between Holden, Crest Ridge, Kingsville and PHill. Love watching the boys play sports. Except wrestling, I can do without it, LOL!
